How many of you have already tried to extricate the invisible tangles that wraps the paradox of existence? A perfect equilibrio driven by itself, a calamity of chaos acting in perfect harmony. We walk over this unnerving area, carrying our broken hearts across the rifts of this prismatic soil. Monoliths, platforms and ginormous rocks shades our lonely souls and a colossal cascade pervades the atmosphere with its dull sound. Man created the gods and they raised their towers; So high to fracture the veil between dimensions Swallowed by this dreadful vortex, we slip beyond space and time, liquefying our hands together into the absolute. Deaf to cosmos, blind at creation. No veil will ever dismantle our essence, no god will ever dismember our spirits. Soaked of consciousness we abort the illusion. Who made our wounds so deep? Who covered our souls of flesh? Will this ouroboric cycle ever break-up?
3.
Beyond the warped fault of reality, a desolate field emerges as the top of this dimensional plane architecture. Swallowed by aridity, summoned by outward canyons, we let the ground colour our boots. At night we enfold and enclose the wind. We are grinding like wheels, suffocated by dust, drained by the sun. This valley is my heart, too deserted for love, too dry for blood, it’s my own grave yet full of bones. At night we enfold and die as one.
4.
Throughout, over and over, constant like an utterance in loop Those lines were growing above our heads, infecting the skies that adorned our childhood plays turning us into vertigo steps on a consumed rope. I’d rather be a shimmering spectre than a suffering kid, to irradiate dying ones before their last breath, fly gently on nervous smokers outside the hospital and recount stories to the people in the corridors, just to give’em another distraction than getting on and off the stairs. I’m watching the world slumping down behind a fogged window, unable to move. My vanishing shadow ends where the sun turns grey, onto a castle of sad memories, where my inner rage becomes abandonment. We made this ark to have a safe refuge We made these wings to reach the sky and paint it blue again.
5.
Awaking the ocean of self-consciousness upon which we sail adrift, misplaced like an iota of cinder into a torrent of lava. Where is this gleam coming from? From the source of cosmic energy? Or it’s just another shattering collapse across the reigns of existence? We created and then we destroyed, carrying the weight of our bodies and trudging over the mountains of knowledge. I’m here, somewhere, tied to the columns of space and time, wishing to see my mother’s eyes. I belong to the void and you belong to the sun, purging our astral beings into an eclipse, becoming one, perfect, like an angel’s egg. We submerge within the ruts of outer space, giving back our imperfect souls to the celestial infinite where we belong, just to fight against our own mistakes. The whole universe is going backward to the beginning of all, if once we were gods is this our fault? The abyss is ours, the eternal dichotomy is falling, yin and yang are blending together, self has stopped transforming. We all belong to the one, absolute, perfect, infinite, free.
6.
As long as it was supposed to be this soaring halo of melancholia encircled our molten souls, while we were humming this melody composed by a broken-hearted lover Downward we slide, throwing our shrunken hearts into a violet swirl We have sew the wounds of mankind with our own capillaries and we’ve tryied to climb up like vines on the wall, fixing our hopes in smithereens on the ground We dunk our tired bodies inside the waters of this spectral lake, seeing nothing than the ceiling of the grotto where it is located Oh angels, guide us through these everlasting lights invisible to humans, quench your thirst with our spotless blood, overwhelm with grace our drab shapes and relive our mislaid memories buried by time. The obsession of death, the failure of life, the harm of love Are we all doomed to perish and be forgotten?

about

Captured by Colin Marston at Menegroth, the Thousand Caves (Krallice, Gorguts, Dysrhythmia) in Queens, New York, SVNTH's Spring In Blue delivers six tracks that far transcend the band's previous efforts. Fusing atmospheric black metal eruptions with the more solid structured roots of '70s class rock and '90s shoegaze, Spring In Blue is a soundtrack to one's deepest emotions. An analysis of human existence, the record explores themes of childhood loss and weathering situations far bigger than ourselves. Elaborates bassist/vocalist Rodolfo Ciuffo, "Spring In Blue has been recorded live in studio and even in terms of sound, it shows a more organic and solid production, mixing ecstatic heavy and fast sections with tragic and melancholic slow moments. It is the perfect musical accompaniment for a concept that explores themes such as death, existential philosophy, and modern technology's consequences on man."
